These awards are to celebrate and reward the Human Resources sector for the work they are doing in Diversity across all strands throughout Europe.

Diversity and inclusion is proven to be good for business, an employee who feels supported at work, no matter what strand of diversity they represent, is proven to not only hold them at work but also stay longer at an organisation who steadily supports diversity.

HR has a pivotal role in implementing Diversity strategies throughout organisations which is why we have introduced these awards.

This event is part of the European Diversity Awards. Winners will automatically be shortlisted for the European Diversity Awards, to be held in London in November 2020.

A survey by Forbes Insights of more than 300 senior executives – 32% who were in HR or talent management – found their companies’ diversity and inclusion priorities include:

  • 44% said retention of diverse talent
  • 35% said ensuring diversity in the workplace
  • 29% said developing a robust pipeline of diverse talent 
  • 28% said managing cross-generational issues
